Amman is the capitol of Jordan. Much like Athens, it has many historic ruins. Including the roman temple of Hercules, and the 8th-century Umayyad palace. Amman has become a very popular place for students wanting to study, live, or work in the middle east. It also has many large shopping malls from the 2000s, and also many night clubs and bars scattered throughout the city. The average temp. is about 17 degrees Fahrenheit, and they receive about 245 mm of rain per year.
